Lakeview High School Male Athlete of the Month Peyton Elder – Boys Swimming & Diving Lakeview is proud to recognize Peyton Elder as our Male Athlete of the Month! Peyton’s journey in diving began back in 6th grade at Lakeview Middle School, and since then, he has built one of the most impressive resumes in Spartan diving history. He is a 3-time All-City Champion, a 3-time SMAC All-Conference selection, and a 2-time All-State honoree — with his sights set on making it three this year. Peyton has also competed on the national stage at the AAU Summer Nationals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, going head-to-head with some of the top high school divers in the country. That experience has only sharpened his competitive edge. This season has been nothing short of dominant. Peyton went undefeated in dual meets and currently holds three pool records at St. Joe, Bridgman, and Lakeview — and he broke each of those records twice! He also came within less than a single point of breaking a 40-year-old six-dive school record held by Lakeview legend Tom Fox. But Peyton isn’t finished yet. He is locked in on capturing a SMAC Championship, earning a Division 2 State Title, and closing out his high school career by breaking the long-standing 11-dive school record. His focus, work ethic, and determination represent everything it means to be a Spartan. Congratulations, Peyton! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next
