Lakeview Athletics is pleased to announce September's Male & Female Athlete of the Month. This award is presented to a male and female athlete for outstanding performance and sportsmanship in a sport. Amiyah Gibson - Amiyah is one of the leaders of the 2024 women’s golf team. She goes above and beyond at practice. She continually strives to help her teammates out, so that they can become better players. She is always practicing, and playing outside of high school golf to become a better player. She has improved her scoring average from last year by six shots. She works hard to keep school first by going to class every day, and challenging herself to become a better student. Karson Lewis - He is the fastest freshman in LHS History with a time of 16:33. Karson's current PR (16:33) places him #13 overall on the all-time list. He has earned 4 season records this season in 7 races. This is a very high ratio of PRs to races. Karson is extremely hardworking and dedicated to his athletic goals. More than anything he is a kind, thoughtful young man who supports all his teammates.
