Lakeview won it's third district title in the last four years. The girls won the tournament opener, getting past Portage Central, 3-0. The Lady Spartans then went on to defeat rival Gull Lake in 3. The team now advances to play in a Division 1 regional semifinal against Byron Center at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, at Middleville Thornapple Kellogg High School. In the game against Portage Central - Livi Overbeek had 14 kills and 11 digs with Carson Howard adding 14 kills. Anya Rankin came up with 11 kills and 17 digs. Camille Oxley added 16 digs and Caitlyn Miller had 45 assists. In the game against Gull Lake - Livi Overbeek had 21 kills and 11 digs to leave Lakeview with karlee Gutsue and Abbigail Taft getting 10 kills. Anya Rankin added eight kills and 12 digs with Camille Oxley coming up with 13 digs and Marin McCullough adding 11 digs.
