Eli Demlow has had an absolutely incredible cross country season! This standout sophomore has been making waves on every course he’s tackled this fall. Season Highlights: ~ 3rd Place at the All-City Meet, earning All-City Honors ~ All-Conference recognition after finishing 15th at the SMAC Championships ~ 14th Place at the MHSAA Regional Meet, qualifying him for the State Finals on Nov. 1 ~ Earned All-Region Honors Eli’s name is already etched in the LHS record books — he’s currently the 4th fastest runner in LHS Cross Country history, holds the 4th fastest freshman time ever, and is the 2nd fastest sophomore of all time! His success comes from relentless dedication, discipline, and a true passion for running. But what makes Eli stand out even more is his character — he’s known for his humility, sportsmanship, and genuine kindness toward everyone he meets.
